MEIKUEI Dairy Breeding Farm

Mei-Kuei dairy farm is established in Taiwan since 1970 and runs by Mr. Gan's families, couple with three sons.

There are 150 head of cattle in the farm and about 50-60 dairy cows producing 2 tons milk per day.

The farm choosing the appropriate semen to match each cow's condition, 10 bulls' semen will be deposited with 10-20 doses in the farm each year.

Within 60-90 seconds of all teat preparation procedures, milking units need to be attached in Mr. Gan's farm .

Total Mixed Ration is formulated by Mr. Yang, Derwei in Miaoli County with forage: concentrate ratios of 50:50. Two group cows are divided into high and low yield cows, the main indigents are Bermuda, sweet oats, alfalfa, dry popcorn, cooked soybeans, trace elements, etc. For low yield group TMR will add Alfalfa hay to reduce the concentrate ratio.

Mei-Kuei dairy farm is registered as the 17th dairy breeding farm of Taiwan in September 17, 2001.
