Protocol of Embryo Cryopreservation

A. Collection of Embryo

  1. Induction of estrus:
    Method A: 1500 IU PMSG, 48 hours after, 2~3 ml PGF2a , 36~48 hours after, 1500 IU HCG intravenously. Often for breeding
    season.Method B: often for nonbreeding season day 1~9: CIDR(progesterone releasing device)in vagina day 7: 1500 IU PMSG intramuscularly day 9: Remove CIDR and PGF2a, injection day 10~11: 1500 IU HCG intravenoualy
  2. Breeding with artificial insemination or nature service
  3. Embryo collection on 6~7 days after mating
  4. Embryo examination
