Ethanol(Alcohol)

Ethanol is a chemical compound. It is the principal active ingredient found in alcoholic drinks. It is also called ethyl alcohol.

Ethanol is effective in killing microorganisms like bacteria, fungi and viruses. It has a quick drying time and does not leave a residual solvent. It is the safest method of sanitizing in any food or pharma setting.

There are two types commonly available in industry or on the market, 70% and 95%. However, It’s harder to obtain 100% one.
